2024 NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN

Submitting a nomination for the Mercury Awards is a great way to acknowledge recent success within your company.

NOMINATING CRITERIA AND INSTRUCTIONS:

Nominating criteria and instructions:

  • Nominating is free and must be completed using this online form by 11:59pm Friday 5 July 2024.
  • Nominations are unable to be withdrawn once nominations are closed.
  • Your nomination must be completed in one sitting; a partially completed form cannot be saved and reopened at a later date.
  • All products and/or technologies must be manufactured and/or commercially available in Australia.
  • Please have any supporting documentation (i.e. brochures, photographs, testimonials) ready to upload. No single file should exceed 3MB in size. Any file above that size won’t be provided with judging files.
  • All nominations must be accompanied by a high-resolution image (at least 1MB in size) suitable for print publication.
  • All finalists are required to have a representative at the Gala Awards evening should they be successful.

By submitting a nomination, you give Prime Creative Media permission to publish all or part of your nomination in MHD Supply Chain Solutions or another suitable publication.

NOTE: no content is provided to nominees for approval prior to publication so please ensure all information, supporting evidence and images are approved for publication prior to submitting the nomination. Anything that is confidential and not for publishing should be clearly identified.

SUPPLY CHAIN INNOVATOR OF THE YEAR

This Award recognises a company working to disrupt the supply chain industry.

Nomination Criteria

  • Company must operate within Australia, and have been in operation since at least 1 July 2021.
  • Nomination must explain the innovation that the company has introduced to disrupt the industry. Innovation must have been introduced from 1 July 2021. (20 points)
  • Nomination must demonstrate how the company’s capabilities to offer this solution to wider industry. (30 points)
  • Nomination must demonstrate how the innovation improves the industry in at least one of the following areas: environment and sustainability, productivity, efficiency and speed, cost-saving, safety, traceability. (50 points)

BEST TECHNOLOGY APPLICATION

This Award recognises a technology designed to enhance the logistics and materials handling sector.

Nomination Criteria

  • Technology must have been introduced from 1 July 2021.
  • Nomination must demonstrate how technology improves logistics and materials handling efficiency and cost-saving. (40 points)
  • Nomination must demonstrate how technology differentiates from other market offerings. (10 points)
  • Nomination must showcase how the technology improves at least one of the following: environment, production outputs, safety. (50 points)

SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE AWARD

This Award recognises a project or program that enhances sustainability in the logistics and materials handling industry.

Nomination Criteria

  • Project or program must have been introduced from 1 July 2021.
  • Project or program may be internal to a company, or a marketable offering for the wider industry.
  • Nomination must demonstrate practicality of project or program, with example/s of implementation or usage to be included. (60 points)
  • Nomination must demonstrate differences to other sustainability programs or projects. (40 points)

FREIGHT TRANSPORT SOLUTION OF THE YEAR

This Award recognises a solution for the movement of freight across land and/or sea, by any method.

Nomination Criteria

  • Solution must have been introduced from 1 July 2021.
  • Nomination must demonstrate how solution enhances at least one of the following: efficiency, traceability, cost-saving, environment. (50 points)
  • Nomination must demonstrate practicality of solution, with at least one case study of a customer experience, including outcomes achieved. (50 points)

BEST STORAGE SOLUTION

This Award recognises a solution for storage in the logistics and materials handling sector.

Nomination Criteria

  • Solution must have been introduced from 1 July 2021.
  • Nomination must demonstrate how solution enhances at least one of the following: efficiency, space-saving, cost-saving. (50 points)
  • Nomination must demonstrate practicality of solution, with at least one case study of a customer experience, including outcomes achieved. (50 points)

CONTRIBUTION TO INDUSTRY AWARD

This Award recognises an outstanding contribution to the field of logistics and materials handling. This category is not open for nomination.
